2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
My grace is sufficient...Jesus is saying to Paul look, I doesn't matter who is out to hurt you, who is out to kill you, or what the accountant, Christians or physicians are saying for in it all my strength is made perfect in weakness.
We all get weak one time or another, however, you must remember who you are in Christ Jesus. It is important to speak to yourself. I would also like to remind you of of Joel 3:10 - "...let the weak say, I am strong." Say it until you believe it...I AM STRONG!
When you are Living Life 2 The Fullest, often times, you are placed to withstand a technically impossible situation. God will position you there on purpose for a reason known or unknown to you. It would appear this situation is way beyond your capacity to handle and you find yourself in the middle of something you want to get out of immediately. However, the lesson really begins when we listen to the Holy Spirit and allow Jesus to give us HIS grace to work through it and not give up. This is when you develop and allow God to show Himself strong in your life.
The Character of God is faithful and His grace is freely given. Grace is God’s unmerited favor. We can’t earn it! Did you know that there is absolutely no condition that can make Jesus ineffective however, conditions become ineffective because of Jesus? When Jesus enters your situation the battle of the mind stops, emotions are healed, sickness is replaced with health, finances are restored, relationships are renewed.
Grace indicates favor on the part of the giver, and thanks on the part of the receiver. To be in favor with is to find “grace” with.
Jesus died to make provision for us in every area of our lives. He wants you be victorious in every area of your life. The power you have in Jesus will give you the strength when you feel beaten by people, circumstances, situations, trials, turmoil. God will rest on you the grace you need to handle the very same thing you did not want to or though you could not do.
There is a moment when God will instantly rest on you the grace (favor) to overcome obstacles. The grace to handle adversity, the grace to help you do what you thought you could not do now becomes easy...why? Because He has favored you with strategies.
Sometimes life puts our Grace Under Fire and sets our character off course. We can't seem to play offense because we are always on the defense. We can no longer play nice and need everything handled right now. Grace is given by God and it works best with patience.
